God fortsättning på julen!

Ja nu har man varit inomhus i flera dagar, sjuk, eller egentligen är det väl bara en förkylning. Började för några dagar sedan med en irriterad hals, inte riktigt ont utan mer torrt, sedan började näsan rinna som bara den och igår trodde jag att jag skulle vara så pass ok idag att jag skulle kunna börja träningen. Men så inatt vaknade jag och hade ont i kroppen, kollade tempen och javisst, jag hade 38 grader. Inge kul alls! Så det blev ytterligare en vilodag. Har då tappat tre träningsdagar jämfört med om jag hade varit frisk.

Annars har jag haft en bra julhelg. Kom hem två dagar före julaftonen och i vanlig ordning är det stress dagen innan. Fixa till lite julstämning hemma och inhandla alla julklappar. Ofta åker folk till Östersund, Mora eller Ljusdal för att shoppa vilket jag också gjort många gånger, men i år blev allt inhandlat i Sveg. Och jag ska säga att utbudet var inte alls så svagt som jag och säkert många andra trott. Så jag slår ett extra slag för att handla lokalt.

Jag måste bara berätta en sak som hände efter den senaste stafetten då vi blev 8:a. En journalist från en av de större tidningarnas sportredaktion ringde och frågade hur snacket hade gått efter att vi blev 8:a. Så långt så bra, men sedan frågade han hur vi tänkte framåt nu eftersom vi har VM på hemmaplan om två månader. "Vaddå hemmaplan?" sade jag. "Jaaa i Östersund" säger journalisten. "Ehh, det var ju förra året, vi ska till Sydkorea i år. Du är ute ett år för sent" fortsatte jag. Vissa verkar inte insatta i ämnet de skriver om alls, fast jag tror att han kände sig lite dum för när intervjun var klar slängde han på luren i örat på mig. I efterhand önskar jag att jag funnit mig snabbt och spunnit vidare på VM i Östersund så han kanske hade skrivit om det, ha ha ha.....

Nu önskar jag alla en fortsatt skön ledighet (de som är lediga och de som inte är - några sköna dagar) och ett gott slut på 2008.

Have a great Christmas and Continuation of the Holiday Merryment!!

Now I have been inside for several days, sick, or actually i guess it`s just a cold.  It started some days ago with just a irritated throat, not really soar just dry, then the nose started to try and runnaway on me. And yesterday i felt that i would be good enough to to train again, then during the night i was feeling worse and worse, finally I took my temparature and yuppeee 38C.  No Fun at all, so one more rest day.  I have now lost 3 training days and not to mention not actually getting any real rest days.

Otherwise I´ve been having a good christmas holiday.  I came home two days before christmas eve and as usual it was stress the day before. Trying to prep a little bit for the christmas spirit, and finish getting (well actually get most of) the presents.  Most of the time people go to Östersund, Mora or Ljusdal to get christmas gifts, as i have done in the past as well.  But this year all the shopping was to be done in Sveg.  I must say that the merchandise that the shops had to offer was much better than I and surely others would have expected as well. So yahoooo I must say I fully cheer on local shopping.

I just have to tell you a story that happened directly post the last relay where we came in 8th.  A journalist from one of the bigger papers sports section, called and asked about what we have been discussing after the relay amogst the team.  So far so good, but then he asked what we are thinking about in the future, because we have World Champs at HOME in two months???&%¤&%¤#" "Wha.......What at home?" I said, then he said "yah in Östersund".  "EEhhhhhh that was last year, we are going to South Korea this year. You are one year too late" I continued.  Certain people dont know about the subjects that they write about, but I think he felt a little silly because when the interview was done he almost cut me off, he was in such a rush.  Afterwards I wish I could have redone this situation and pretended to go along with it all the way.  That would be fun to read about next day, ha haa haaa.........

 Now i wish all a nice continued holiday (the ones that have holiday) and the others some nice days and a super duper ending to 2008.
